Hi, I’m Elissa Katz
Thanks for stopping by. I’d like to share a little bit of my story with you, and why I was inspired to create Community Chocolate.
Over the past 15 years I’ve engaged in the Phoenix community as a doctor helping people with their health and healing, as a mother of a bright and very funny 10 year old daughter, and as a partner to my dynamic and loving husband. I’ve volunteered in committees and on boards, and I’ve had the opportunity to mentor many people. And while all these roles were incredibly fulfilling I found that there were areas in my life that were definitely in need of a little sweetness.
It sort of happened all at once. All of my deepest connections shifted.
My husband began to travel for work, several girlfriends moved away with their families and my support for raising our daughter changed. Losing these deep connections left a void in my life on many levels and I was challenged to find a place that fulfilled my need for connection, creativity, learning and laughter all at the same time!
This longing was my inspiration for Community Chocolate.
I wanted to create a place that would bring all these interests together as well as a place to bring my skills as a healer and teacher. I created Community Chocolate because I felt other women were longing for the same thing and would also appreciate this unique and very special environment.
Perhaps you are like me and you’d like to be able to experience it all in one place too.
I hope you will join me for a class or event at Community Chocolate soon. You never know what you may learn or who you may strike up a conversation with.
Community Chocolate…connection is sweet.
